2024 Registration Opens April 22nd

Valentine Schedules:

PreK (4-5 year olds)    May 21^st                          1:00pm – 5:00pm Valentine City Park

K-1 grades                    May 22^nd & 23^rd              1:00pm – 5:00pm Valentine City Park

2-3 grades                    June 3^rd & 4^th                 9:00am-5:00pm Valentine City Park

4-5 grades                    June 17^th @ 9:00am – June 18^th @ 5:00pm

* 1 Overnight Sleepover with students at Valentine City Park *

6-8 grades                     June 23^rd @ 1:00pm – June 25^th @ 5:00pm

*  2 Overnight Camping with students @ Long Pine SRA *

Ainsworth, Bassett, Springview Area Schedules:

2-3 grades                    June 6^th & 7^th           9:00am-5:00pm Keller State Park

Birding Backpacks FREE for CheckOut

Don’t have bird guides or binoculars?  No problem, you are able to check-out a Birder’s Backpack for the weekend or anytime you want to explore nature. 

The Backpacks are located at both the Niobrara Council office in Valentine and the NE Game & Parks office in Bassett. 

The backpacks include field guides, activity sheets, binoculars, water bottles, bird facts, & bird checklists.
