Niobrara Council takes the classroom outside!
The Valentine Kindergarten classes participated in an Arbor Day fun day at the Ecology Park.
Students were given a short lesson on the history of Arbor Day and the importance of trees in our environment. Then students completed activity books that had them do activities like bark rubbings and sketching. The day was completed with a scavenger hunt using jumbo magnifying glasses!
